history:

After 2 years hard work in testing 2 friends Reiner from lefay and me we find an end of development to satisfied Reiners high level extra sound-searching. 

And now this works even  for 4 , 5 and 6 string bass .

We checked different frequency curves to enhance the natural sound of a bass instrument .

our targets had been:

                   * low power consumption. 

                   * just enhance the natural characteristics.  

                   * absolut low noise.

                   * in 0-Position of the potis no sound difference to bypass  

Reffering to the spectral frequency curve of the bass pickup signal:

1. we do not boost more than 8dB in the bass area to eliminate any chance for distortion .

2 we boost in the high band max 20dB at 2 different edge frequencies.

in our opinion the possibility to use  attenuation like a normal  2 or 3 band electronic +- 20dB  produces more confusion to the bass player.

Just enhance not attenuate !!!

but if you prefer to attenuate also i will do so.
